Cody Bradford Pitches First Game Since 2024
Today, lefthanded pitcher Cody Bradford started for the Rangers against the Giants, marking his first big league appearance since September 25, 2024. After posting a 2.25 ERA and 16:2 K/BB ratio in five rehab starts, Bradford performed well in his season debut, throwing 4.1 scoreless innings with five strikeouts. On the strength of his pitching and clutch hits from Brandon Nimmo and Justin Foscue, the Rangers took home an easy 6-0 win. Before he went down with elbow injuries, Cody Bradford was a solid member of the 2024 rotation, going 6-3 with a 3.54 ERA and 5.38 K/BB ratio in 14 appearances (13 starts). After a rehab period that lasted almost two years, Bradford's performance today is quite encouraging.
