Wyatt Langford Walks Off First Game Back From IL

Playing in his first game since June 26 due to a hamstring strain, Rangers slugger Wyatt Langford came in clutch against the Angels tonight. With the score tied 6-6, the Rangers faced LA closer Kirby Yates, who was an all-star with Texas in 2024, in the bottom of the ninth. With one out and Alejandro Osuna on second, Langford cranked a walk-off single to left to capture the win, 7-6. With a Mariners loss to the Marlins, the Rangers reclaim sole possession of first place in the American League West.
